Camp Update: Subnautica Crafting References Get a Much-Needed Refresh

There’s been more work going on around the Survivor Incognito camp, and this time my attention has turned back to Planet 4546B.

The Subnautica Crafting Reference page has received a much-needed overhaul. What started as a collection of crafting tables has now been replaced with something considerably more useful, bringing together two dedicated, interactive crafting references.

A New Approach to Crafting

The original Subnautica crafting page served its purpose, providing a place to look up recipes and their required materials. However, it was fairly basic, and I’ve been wanting to improve it for some time.

Rather than continuing to maintain a collection of static tables, I’ve moved towards standalone crafting tools that make it easier to browse recipes, check ingredients, and calculate the resources needed for different crafting projects.

The refreshed page now serves as a central hub for these tools, keeping everything in one place without having to navigate through endless tables.

Below Zero Joins the Collection

The other significant addition is Subnautica: Below Zero, which now has its own dedicated crafting reference.

Although both games take place on Planet 4546B, their crafting requirements aren’t identical. Giving Below Zero its own tool means recipes and material requirements can be kept separate, making it easier to find the information relevant to whichever game you’re playing.

Both crafting tools also have their own custom web addresses, allowing survivors to access them directly.

Part of a Bigger Plan

This update is another small part of the wider changes I’ve been making to the Survivor Incognito website.

I’ve mentioned before that I want the website to become more than somewhere to document my adventures. The aim is to build a collection of useful resources alongside the survival diaries, videos, and other content I’ve been working on.

The crafting references are part of that effort, and there are already other projects taking shape within the Survivor Incognito Workshop.

There’s still plenty to do, but the Subnautica crafting section is now in a much better position than it was before. The old tables have been retired, both games have dedicated tools, and future improvements can be made without having to rebuild the main website page each time.

The refreshed Subnautica Crafting References page is now live and can be accessed through the Subnautica Hub.

That’s another job crossed off the camp’s rather extensive to-do list. There are still other areas of the website requiring attention, but progress is being made.

Until the next update, stay safe out there, survivors.

One Survivor. Many Worlds.
