Welcome to The Workshop.
Not every challenge requires another expedition. Sometimes, the right tool can make a difference.
The Workshop is home to the tools, utilities, and guides I’ve created or put together through my own gaming experiences.
From letting Fate decide your next adventure in Skyrim to generating new survival challenges in The Long Dark, the aim is simple: provide useful resources that anyone can access.
You’ll also find technical guides covering things I’ve managed to get working myself, including running ProMods on the Steam Deck.
Everything here is freely available. No subscriptions, no paywalls. Just resources that might prove useful on your own adventures.
The Arbiter of Fate
You choose the journey. The Arbiter chooses the direction.
A free Skyrim companion tool that puts your next objective in the hands of Fate.
The Arbiter assigns quests, manages character progression choices, and introduces an element of unpredictability to your adventures across Skyrim.
You’re still free to explore, discover locations and play your own way. The Arbiter simply decides which direction your journey takes next.
Whether you’re starting a new character or looking for a different way to experience Skyrim, Fate is ready when you are.
The Long Dark Randomizer
Your survival. Your rules. A little unpredictability.
The Long Dark is already an unforgiving survival experience, but sometimes it’s worth letting chance decide just how difficult your next adventure will be.
The Long Dark Randomizer is a free browser-based tool that generates custom survival settings, allowing you to create new challenges and experiment with different ways to experience the Quiet Apocalypse.
Choose from available presets, lock settings you want to keep, and reroll those you’d rather leave to chance.
You can also save and restore your configurations, making it easy to return to a challenge or share your settings with others.
Whether you’re looking for something manageable or a considerably harsher survival experience, the Randomizer lets you find out what awaits.
ProMods on Steam Deck
Taking Euro Truck Simulator 2 beyond its usual roads.
Getting ProMods running on the Steam Deck isn’t quite as straightforward as installing a typical Steam Workshop modification.
After working through the installation process myself, I put together a guide documenting how I got ProMods working with Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Valve’s handheld.
The guide covers the setup process and the steps involved, providing a reference for anyone looking to do the same.
If you’re hoping to expand your trucking adventures on the Steam Deck, this guide might help you get there.
