Where In Skyrim Am I? Now You Can Find Out (Sort Of)

I’ve added a new feature to the blog: a full map of Skyrim.

No markers. No quest icons. Just a map so you can trace the journey the same confusing way I do — by squinting at rivers, guessing mountain paths, and muttering “pretty sure I passed that ruin already.”

You’⁰ll find it linked on the main Skyrim Survival page and at the end of each day’s post. Or you can jump straight to it here:
[Skyrim Survival Map]

It won’t tell you where I’m going next, but it will show where I might be. Or where I got lost before heading somewhere else entirely. Either way, it’s part of the fun.

Let me know what you think. And if you’re a map-staring, path-guessing player too — welcome home.

🧭 Coming Next Week

Survival gets messier. And colder

We made it through another week of frostbite, undead assassins, and poor life choices involving torches. Here’s what’s (hopefully) coming next week:

The Long Dark Region Maps Page

The Great Bear Island and Far Territory anchors are live. Up next: finishing the region write-ups, transition zones, and making sure Transfer Pass behaves itself. I’m hoping to get this finished up before the next day of A Voyageur’s Tale is up.

Sneak, Snipe, Repeat Day 2

The Golden Claw waits, and so do the draugr. Next week, I brave Bleak Falls Barrow armed with low expectations, a questionable sense of direction, and necromancy. Because if someone’s gotta die in that ruin, it might as well be twice.

A Voyageur’s Tale Day 3

I try to escape Desolation Point. Spoiler: the wolves have other plans. There will be storms, missteps, and probably a desperate sprint across a broken bridge. Again.

Also, quick note: I’m updating the front page of the blog! You’ll find some new sections, updated links, and a cleaner layout, so keep an eye out for those changes. It’s all part of making your journey through my survival stories just a little smoother.

ARK: Survival Evolved – Day 1 on The Island: Dodos, Dilophosaurs, and Dubious Decisions

My Day 1 in ARK: Survival Evolved on The Island began with the classic survival starter pack: confusion, panic, and punching a tree with my bare hands. From crafting a questionable cloth shirt to accidentally angering a dilophosaur, this first day was all about learning the hard way — mostly through trial, error, and mildly heroic fleeing. Want to see how it all went down (and how I barely made it back up again)?
