The torch is gone, the cold is worse, and the necromancy is getting bolder. Day 2 of my Skyrim Survival playthrough is now up. I brave the snow to raid Bleak Falls Barrow, struggle with Apprentice difficulty, and return victorious—barely.

A Voyageur’s Tale – Day 3 Drops Tomorrow
Our cautious wanderer isn’t done with the cold just yet.
Day 3 of A Voyageur’s Tale arrives this Thursday, and things are heating up—well, metaphorically. Expect more coffee, questionable decisions, and the creeping suspicion that the wolves have formed a union.
If you’ve missed the first two entries, now’s a good time to catch up. The cold doesn’t wait, and neither do the moose.
Stay warm. Stay weird. See you Thursday.
Until then, catch up with the first two days here: [The Cold Chronicles: A Voyageur’s Tale]
The Map Hub Is Live: Navigate My Chaos One Region at a Time
Survivor Incognito’s new Map Hub is here! Get quick access to detailed maps for The Long Dark, Skyrim, ARK: Survival Evolved, and more.
Lost again? You’re in luck—because now I know where I am. Mostly.
The Map Hub is now live on Survivor Incognito! It’s your one-stop page for every survival game map I’ve blundered through so far. Whether you’re wandering Mystery Lake, dodging deathworms in Scorched Earth, or just trying to remember which way Bleak Falls Barrow is, I’ve got you covered.
Here’s what’s inside:
The Long Dark region pages (including DLC and transition zones)
ARK: Survival Evolved maps for The Island and Scorched Earth, with links to interactive versions
Skyrim world map (because frostbite waits for no one)
A placeholder for future games, because let’s face it—I’m probably going to keep making poor survival decisions
Each game has its own dedicated map section, and I’ll keep expanding it as the blog grows. So if you ever need to get your bearings—or just want to laugh at mine—you know where to click.
Where In Skyrim Am I? Now You Can Find Out (Sort Of)
I’ve added a new feature to the blog: a full map of Skyrim.
No markers. No quest icons. Just a map so you can trace the journey the same confusing way I do — by squinting at rivers, guessing mountain paths, and muttering “pretty sure I passed that ruin already.”
You’⁰ll find it linked on the main Skyrim Survival page and at the end of each day’s post. Or you can jump straight to it here:
[Skyrim Survival Map]
It won’t tell you where I’m going next, but it will show where I might be. Or where I got lost before heading somewhere else entirely. Either way, it’s part of the fun.
Let me know what you think. And if you’re a map-staring, path-guessing player too — welcome home.
🧭 Coming Next Week
Survival gets messier. And colder
We made it through another week of frostbite, undead assassins, and poor life choices involving torches. Here’s what’s (hopefully) coming next week:
The Long Dark Region Maps Page

The Great Bear Island and Far Territory anchors are live. Up next: finishing the region write-ups, transition zones, and making sure Transfer Pass behaves itself. I’m hoping to get this finished up before the next day of A Voyageur’s Tale is up.
Sneak, Snipe, Repeat Day 2

The Golden Claw waits, and so do the draugr. Next week, I brave Bleak Falls Barrow armed with low expectations, a questionable sense of direction, and necromancy. Because if someone’s gotta die in that ruin, it might as well be twice.
A Voyageur’s Tale Day 3

I try to escape Desolation Point. Spoiler: the wolves have other plans. There will be storms, missteps, and probably a desperate sprint across a broken bridge. Again.
Also, quick note: I’m updating the front page of the blog! You’ll find some new sections, updated links, and a cleaner layout, so keep an eye out for those changes. It’s all part of making your journey through my survival stories just a little smoother.
100 Views and Counting – You Lot Are Gluttons for Punishment

Somehow, 100 people have visited this blog. Whether you came here by accident, curiosity, or you just enjoy secondhand frostbite, thanks for stopping by.
I’m about 75% done with the Long Dark region maps page, which will include:
Clickable region maps
Survival advice (questionable but heartfelt)
All zones: Great Bear, Far Territory, and transition maps
It’s coming soon. Until then, stay fed, stay warm, and don’t trust the ice.

Survivor’s Log – The Cold Chronicles Day 2 Incoming
Brace Yourselves: More Bad Decisions in the Cold Are Coming Today
The next entry in The Cold Chronicles: A Voyageur’s Tale of The Long Dark drops later today. Expect questionable survival strategies, accidental sprains, and the kind of looting choices that make future-you roll their eyes.
Check back soon—because nothing says cozy like reading about frostbite from the comfort of your warm couch.
Coming Today: Sneak, Snipe, Repeat – Skyrim Survival Day One
What happens when an Argonian wakes up in a war-torn land, gets ambushed by wolves, and punches their way through a mine with a bow, a mace, and zero survival instincts?
Skyrim Survival Mode is cold, cruel, and kind of hilarious when you’re new, hungry, and accidentally following Hadvar because you forgot where Riverwood was.
Day One drops in the next few hours—get ready for some frosty chaos and beginner stealth-archer blunders.
And don’t forget: Day Two of The Long Dark Voyageur playthrough goes live tomorrow. More cold. More chaos. Less punching. (Probably.)
Survivor’s Log: Scorched Earth – Day One Now Live!
You’d think spawning in a desert would teach someone a little humility.
You’d be wrong.
I took my first dusty steps into ARK: Scorched Earth on easy mode—and let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. There were bushes to punch, shirts to accidentally mass-produce, and a doedicurus with a very personal vendetta.
Curious how it all went down?
Check out the full Day 1 Diary now and witness my first sunburned stumble through the sand:
