“When it’s stuck, it’s scrap.”
🔧 Core Rules
- Mode: Normal Mode
Survival realism, minus Hardcore suffering. - Permagear Rule:
If a truck becomes:- Permanently stuck,
- Out of fuel and unreachable,
- Or unrecoverable by in-world means,
…it is declared dead and can no longer be used.
❌ Recovery Rules
- No Menu Recovery:
The in-game “Recover” button is banned.
Trucks must be saved manually using in-world recovery.
💠 Garage & Fuel Rules
- Garage Access Allowed:
- Trucks may enter the garage for repairs/refuel.
- Free truck swapping is allowed.
- If a truck dies in the field, it stays dead.
- Inter-Region Travel: Region-switching via garage is allowed (it’s required by the game).
- No Refuel Exploits: Avoid swapping trucks just to top off fuel unless part of legitimate vehicle rotation.
🚛 Truck Use, Sales & Upgrades
- Truck Use: Use any truck from your fleet at any time — until it dies.
- Permanent Death: Dead trucks may not be repaired, used, or sold. They remain in your garage as a reminder.
- Truck Sales (Living Only): You can sell unused or still-active trucks. Once a truck is declared dead, it’s retired permanently.
- Upgrade Rule (Optional):
- 🧭 Explorer Mode: Upgrades must be found on the map or earned via tasks.
- 🧰 Builder Mode: Buy any unlocked upgrades.
Choose your own suffering.
🔄 Resurrection Rule: One Last Shot
A truck may be resurrected once if:
- It is recovered without using menu recovery
- It is brought back to working condition with repairs, fuel, and effort
- Its death and resurrection are both logged in the Graveyard
After resurrection, if it dies again… that’s it.
🪦 There are no second second chances.
⚠️ Optional Convoy Rule
- Delivering heavy cargo? Bring a backup truck.
But if the rescue fails, you could lose both.
You break it, you tow it, you risk it all.
💀 End of the Run
Your run ends when no trucks remain that can complete tasks.
No gear = no progress = no hope.
That’s the Permagear way.
