Interloper / Misery Map
Interloper and Misery strip away safety nets. This map is for route planning, rope management, and avoiding assumptions that worked on lower difficulties.

Welcome to the Summit of Suffering
Timberwolf Mountain doesn’t hide what it is. The climb is visible from the moment you arrive. Steep ridgelines. Rope climbs stacked on rope climbs. Wind moving freely across exposed rock and snow.
This region is vertical in a way that demands planning. Every ascent requires stamina management. Every descent needs to be reversible. Once you commit to a rope, you are committed to finishing it.
Timberwolves patrol sections of the lower terrain, and open ground near key routes offers little cover if they choose to pressure. Weather shifts quickly at elevation, and visibility can turn from clear to hostile within minutes.
The Mountaineer’s Hut serves as the natural staging point. Positioned near the lake and central to summit routes, it offers relative security and structure before committing to higher ground. From there, the climb becomes a sequence of deliberate decisions.
The summit is the reward. Top-tier loot sits waiting for those who manage the ascent correctly. Tools, supplies, resources that can reshape the remainder of a run. But the reward only matters if you can bring it back down.
Timberwolf Mountain isn’t about exploration. It’s about execution. Plan your climb. Track your stamina. Respect the wind. And remember that reaching the top is only half the job.
