Ravine: Where Dreams Fall and So Do You

Pilgrim / Voyageur / Stalker Map

Interloper / Misery Map

Interloper and Misery strip away safety nets. This map is for route planning, rope management, and avoiding assumptions that worked on lower difficulties.

Welcome to the Buffer Zone

The Ravine is narrow and deliberate. A deep cut between regions that feels more like a corridor than a destination. Compared to its neighbors, it’s quiet. Almost restrained.

It connects Mystery Lake to Coastal Highway and Bleak Inlet, and most survivors use it exactly as intended — a crossing. The terrain funnels movement along a predictable path, bordered by steep drops that leave little margin for error.

Wildlife presence here is lighter than most regions, which gives the Ravine a reputation for safety. That safety is conditional. The true threat isn’t patrol routes — it’s gravity. One misstep near the edges, one careless descent, and the region reminds you that vertical mistakes are rarely recoverable.

The rope climb here serves as an early lesson in stamina management. Descending is easy. Climbing back out requires planning. Leave yourself enough energy to reverse the decision.

There are hidden caches and small rewards for those willing to explore carefully, but the Ravine works best when treated as a transition rather than a settlement.

It isn’t hostile. It’s honest. Move steadily. Respect the edges. And don’t let a quiet map convince you to lower your guard.
