Interloper / Misery Map
Interloper and Misery strip away safety nets. This map is for route planning, rope management, and avoiding assumptions that worked on lower difficulties.

Keeper’s Pass North & Keeper’s Pass South
Welcome to the Uphill & Downhill Gauntlet
Keeper’s Pass is split into two sections — North and South — but the experience is consistent: steep mountain routes that demand stamina and planning.
These passes connect Pleasant Valley to Blackrock, and they make that transition feel earned. The paths climb sharply, descend just as abruptly, and leave little room for error. Wind cuts across the exposed ridgelines, draining warmth quickly. Cold becomes a factor long before you expect it.
Infrastructure is minimal. A few structures offer brief shelter, but nothing that encourages lingering. This is a corridor, not a destination.
The real threat here isn’t wildlife dominance or loot scarcity — it’s exhaustion. Long climbs tax stamina, and committing to a descent without reserve energy can leave you vulnerable if weather turns or predators patrol the route.
Keeper’s Pass North and South are deliberate transitions. Prepare before starting the ascent. Keep stamina in reserve. And remember that once you’re halfway through, turning around is rarely easier than pushing forward.
