Far Range Branch Line: The Train Track to Nowhere

Pilgrim / Voyageur / Stalker Map

Interloper / Misery Map

Interloper and Misery strip away safety nets. This map is for route planning, rope management, and avoiding assumptions that worked on lower difficulties.

Welcome to the Frozen Railway

The track cuts through the landscape like a scar. Snow settles between the rails, railcars sit abandoned, and the entire stretch feels temporary — like something you pass through, not somewhere you stay.

This corridor links Broken Railroad to Transfer Pass, and its purpose is obvious. There’s no real infrastructure here. Just open ground, railcars, and the sense that you’re exposed for longer than you’d like.

Wolves define the region’s tone. Their presence changes how you move. Open stretches of track give them space to circle and pressure. Limited visibility during snowfall turns the straight line of the railway into a narrowing tunnel of uncertainty.

Railcars can yield supplies if you search carefully, but every stop costs time. Time invites attention. Daylight travel gives you the clearest advantage — distance visibility matters here more than comfort.

The Frozen Railway isn’t long, but it demands discipline. Move with purpose. Keep distance when you can. Treat it as a crossing between larger problems, not a place to solve them.
