Welcome To Broken, Not Boring
Broken Railroad is compact and deadly. A bear guards the center. Wolves roam the tracks. But there’s loot, a milling machine, and easy access to Forlorn Muskeg’s forge.
Hazards:
Frequent wolf patrols, especially near the Maintenance Yard and Derailment
Cliffs, ropes, and steep terrain increase sprain risk
Blizzards and dead-end geography limit escape options
Loot Spots:
Maintenance Yard Workshop (tools, workbench, bed, stove)
Derailment Site (misc gear, guarded by wolves)
Maintenance Shed (scrap metal, crafting supplies)
Base Recommendations:
Maintenance Yard Workshop: Warm interior, workbench, bed, stove—ideal for short stays
Hunter’s Lodge (northwest): Remote, sometimes looted, risky to reach
Difficulty Note:
Short region but dangerous. Good gear potential but high wolf threat. Best for mid-game visits.
