🚜 What is The Permagear Diaries?

This is my ongoing SnowRunner playthrough on Nintendo Switch — part gameplay blog, part survival diary, and part ‘how did I get my truck stuck here?SnowRunner Survival: The Permagear Diaries is a permadeath playthrough series played on the Nintendo Switch. The idea is simple: if all my trucks get stuck, flip, or become unusable, the run ends. There are no do-overs, no garage teleport spam, and no mods to save the day.
This is survival, but with gears grinding and wheels sinking.
Each entry focuses on one or more missions, written in a diary format full of dry humor, misadventures, and the occasional mechanical miracle.

🎮 Rules of the Road

  • Mode: Regular difficulty, no custom settings
  • Permadeath: If I can no longer complete the missions with the trucks available, the run ends
  • No Fast Travel: No teleporting to the garage after a task is completed. Trucks must return the hard way (or be rescued by another vehicle)
  • Repairs and Refuels: Allowed, if I can get there
  • Mods: None. For the first run, it is vanilla only
