Privacy Policy
Because even chaos needs a paper trail.
Welcome to Survivor Incognito, where the survival is fake but the policies are real. This page explains what kind of info might be collected when you browse around, click links, or otherwise stumble through the digital wilderness that is the blog.
1. What Gets Collected (Besides Bad Decisions)
I don’t personally collect anything beyond the usual chuckles and disbelief. However, WordPress might quietly log stuff like:
- Your browser and device (so the site works)
- What pages you visited (so I can pretend to optimise)
- Your IP address (especially if you leave a comment)
No names, no secret identities, no tracking you down in real life – I promise.
2. Cookies (Not the Edible Kind)
This blog uses cookies, but not the chewy kind with chocolate chips. These are digital:
- WordPress uses them to keep things running smoothly
- Embedded stuff (like videos or maps) might use them too
- Analytic tools (if I enable them) use cookies to figure out what people like reading
If you’re not into that, your browser let’s you disable cookies. No hard feelings.
3. Third-Party Links (Enter at Your Own Risk)
Sometimes I link to other sites. If you click one and it takes you somewhere weird—or just somewhere that’s not here—that’s on you. They’ll have their own policies. I can’t vouch for them. I can barely vouch for myself.
4. Affiliate Links (AKA: Me Trying to Afford Coffee)
This blog may one day include affiliate links. That means if you click something and buy it, I might earn a small commission—without costing you anything extra. I’ll always disclose it in the post so you’re not ambushed.
5. Got Questions?
You can email me directly at survivorincognito@gmail.com or just shout into the void – I check both regularly.
